Offline Library (Kiwix) LAN

Full-text search across the offline corpus: university OER textbooks (LibreTexts), subject encyclopedias, Wikiversity, open textbooks, PhET simulations.

Kolibri Learning Platform LAN

Structured courses and exercises with per-learner progress, coach dashboards and printable reports. Channels move by USB for air-gapped sites.

E-books — text, audio and video

E-Book Library LAN OPDS

EPUB/PDF catalogue with shelves and metadata. OPDS endpoint means students read on their own phones and tablets with no internet.

Audio E-Books & Recordings LAN

Audiobooks, lecture recordings and podcasts, with progress sync from the mobile app.

Video Library optional

Recorded lectures and documentary content. Enable only where the box has CPU headroom for software transcoding.

Collaborative learning

Licensing & provenance. Every title in this box is open-licensed (public domain, CC BY, CC BY-SA or equivalent) or supplied by the commissioning institution with documented rights. Commercial Nigerian university textbooks are not redistributed on the box. Each item's source, licence and retrieval date is recorded in docs/01-content-and-licensing.md.
